During the school year Strings for Kids offers violin, viola and cello lessons for children ages 5–18. Fall and Winter terms consist of 10 private lessons and a recital. A shorter Spring term comprises 4 lessons and an end-of-year recital. Students also have an opportunity to participate in family concerts alongside professional musicians at the Manchester Community Library, and masterclasses. Intermediate and advanced players are invited to join the Taconic Junior Ensemble.

Tuition:
Term I (Fall) and II (Winter)

$400 for ten 30-minute lesson ($40 per lesson)
$500 for ten 45-minute lessons ($50 per lesson)

Term III (Spring)

$160 for four 30-minute lessons ($40 per lesson)
$200 for four 45-minute lessons ($50 per lesson)

How to enroll new students for lessons

a) Contact Joana Genova at directors@taconicmusic.org for teacher availability
b) Meet with the teacher and rent an instrument
c) Mail or e-mail an enrollment form for each student and after that you will receive an invoice for tuition payment each semester
