We are pleased to present a concert performed by Kinhaven Young Artist Seminar ensembles. Directed by cellist Adam Grabois, the seminar is a week-long program of intensive chamber music study culminating in performances in the community. The program continues Kinhaven's 67-year commitment to the highest artistic and educational standards and to a mission of shared learning and mutual support. Three modern (late 19th–mid 20th century) pieces: Dvorak’s String Quintet, Op.97, Poulenc’s Sextet for Piano and Winds, and Shostakovich’s Quintet for Piano and Strings, will make for an evening to remember.
